Twitter user calls out Ubi Franklin for not paying her after a job
Ubi Franklin is accused of contracting UI/UX designer to do a job and then refusing to pay her after she put in so many hours to get the job done.
She said that she was contacted by the music executive via singer Iyanya’s official Twitter account in order to discuss the job.
Then he gave her his number, and they started chatting via WhatsApp. He gave her the brief and she gave him a quote of N500K.
She said they did a Zoom call so she confirmed it is indeed Ubi she is working for.
The voice note he left her was to tell her to get the job done and that he would be paying her later.
She said that she didn’t get paid when she started the job. Ubi said it was because of elections. He promised to pay her after the elections.
However, she said after the elections ended, she did not hear from Ubi until she threatened to call him out on social media.
She also shared screenshots of their chats to back her claims.
