“Two people ran mad before I left Marlian Record label” – Former Naira Marley signee reveals to Dre DMW
Lil Smart, a former artist under the mentorship of rapper Naira Marley, has disclosed to Dre DMW, a member of Davido’s team, that two individuals experienced mental health issues during his tenure with the Marlian Record label.
This revelation emerges amid the controversy surrounding the untimely passing of Afrobeats singer-rapper Mohbad, whose demise remains shrouded in uncertainty. Mohbad reportedly passed away on October 12, 2023, following the administration of an injection for an ear infection.
In the aftermath of Mohbad’s tragic death, there have been allegations of harassment and physical assault directed at him by Sam Larry and a group of associates.
Dre, a member of Davido’s crew, has called out Sam Larry regarding Mohbad’s demise, pledging to thoroughly investigate the matter.
During their conversation, Lil Smart, who was once part of the Marlian Record label, confided in Dre about some of the challenges and issues he encountered during his time with the label.
He revealed that he’s scared and believes that it was the label that ended Mohbad’s life.
Lil smart further revealed that two people had allegedly ran mad before he left the label.
