Two sons of the Chief Justice of Nigeria win APC and PDP tickets to the national assembly
Two sons of Justice Ibrahim Tanko, Chief Judge of the Federation, have been awarded tickets to the National Assembly for the 2023 elections.
Siraj Ibrahim Tanko, who won the All Progressives Congress ticket for Bauchi North Senatorial Seat, beat two other candidates, including Senator Adamu Bulkachuwa (the incumbent Senator) in the primary election.
Daily Trust reported that Siraj received 189 votes and Imba, his closest competitor, got 177 votes. Bulkachuwa did not get a single vote.
Sani Ibrahim Tanko, the CJN’s second son, won the Peoples Democratic Party Primary election in Shira Giafe Federal Constituency of The House of Representatives. He was unopposed.
