“Una no get conscience again” – Teni issues stern warning to Beggars Association of Nigeria
Nigerian musician Teniola Apata, widely known as Teni, has voiced her concerns regarding the recent money-seeking tactics employed by the Beggars Association of Nigeria.
Taking to her Instagram page, the singer directly addressed the leader of the association for their baffling approach in soliciting funds from her.
Expressing her dismay, she highlighted instances where individuals she had previously assisted returned shortly after to request further financial aid, questioning their sense of propriety and even humorously pondering whether she had somehow become their caretaker.
Teni emphasized the lack of reciprocity in their interactions, noting their apparent disregard for her well-being. She also lamented the shift towards requests for foreign currency, such as pounds and dollars, rather than the local currency, naira.
