Why I had to drop out of University – Beverly Osu opens up
Famous Nollywood actress Beverly Ada Mary Osu has revealed the reasons behind her decision to leave university.
During a recent episode of The Discourse With Ken, Beverly Osu openly discussed the challenges she faced trying to juggle her education with her rising career as a video vixen.
The reality TV star explained that her academic pursuits were on track until she encountered criticism for her involvement as a video vixen, which ultimately led to her departure from school.
Speaking about her struggles in her school days, she said;
“At Babcock University everything was nice and education was going well but because I was on TV at 16 as a video vixen.
“Nigerians did not understand the term video vixen then so they always criticized me and took pictures to school. I used to get in trouble in school every weekend, and I mean every weekend.”
On why she left the institution, Beverly Osu opined:
“I just felt that let me leave before it gets sour, you know how Babcock is, it’s rigorous for lack of a better word. I left because I felt so comfortable doing what I was doing and I knew I could balance it, so I left.”
