Why you should stop checking your partner’s phones – Yhemolee
Popular media personality Idowu Adeyemi, also known as Yhemolee, advises couples against checking their partners’ phones in an effort to monitor for infidelity.
Yhemolee, who recently married his longtime girlfriend, Thayour B, warned that snooping through a partner’s phone can be risky.
He emphasized that discovering certain things on a partner’s phone could result in emotional turmoil or even more serious repercussions.
In a video message shared on his Instagram account, Yhemolee expressed his concerns while sharing a friend’s situation.
“My friend called me this morning and told me his fiancée is in the hospital struggling to breathe.
“I asked if she had any terminal illness and he said no. He said she checked his phone overnight. My point is, stop checking your partner’s phone, if you die, the person that made you lose your life will move on.
“My friend confirmed to me that if his fiancée went through his phone very well, she might not survive and even if she survives, whenever she remembers what she saw, she would be traumatised,” he wrote.
