Yemi Solade shares the outcome of his refusal to pay for an award plaque
Nollywood actor Yemi Solade has revealed the result of his decision not to pay for an award plaque.
Sharing his experience on Instagram, the light-skinned Yoruba actor posted a screenshot of a message from an event organizer who denied him the award plaque because he declined to make a payment for it.
The organizer had requested sponsorship from the actor in exchange for the award, but when he refused, they decided to withhold the plaque to cut costs.
Captioning the post, Yemi wrote, “I refused to pay for the award plaque. This is the outcome.”
