Skales is facing a back-and-forth with online trolls, but he appears to be holding his ground quite well.
The exchange began when Skales posted a tweet acknowledging the artists who paved the way for him. He wrote:
“Listen, I will always stand up for myself… I love Burna, but don’t ever say he helped me… no one helped me! Only my fans and God’s grace…”

A troll responded to his tweet by saying that it was Wizkid that made Skales, to which the singer swiftly cut him short.
