“A mother like you is a blessing” – Iyabo Ojo writes to herself as VDM fires back
Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo recently penned a reflective note to herself amidst a heated exchange with controversial self-proclaimed activist Vincent Otise, popularly known as Very Dark Black Man (VDM).
Earlier, Iyabo had addressed VDM in a critical letter, expressing regret over his alleged lack of proper upbringing, which she claimed had turned him into a societal nuisance. She sympathized with both him and his mother, lamenting their circumstances.
In retaliation, VDM fired back, attacking Iyabo and her partner, Paulo Okoye, insinuating that Paulo might be g@y.
In a subsequent Instagram post, Iyabo Ojo celebrated her qualities as a mother and individual, describing herself as supportive, intentional, and a blessing to those around her. She highlighted her selflessness, compassion, and wisdom, emphasizing her dedication to her family and the positive influence she brings to everyone in her life.
“A mother like you is a blessing! You’re not only great but also supportive and intentional in every way. Your love, care, and dedication to your family are truly inspiring,” she wrote. “You’re the kind of mom who always puts others before herself, listens with a compassionate heart, and guides with wisdom and patience.”
Your influence is a ripple effect of kindness, empathy, and understanding that touches the lives of everyone around you. You’re a shining example of what it means to be a remarkable mom.
Alice Iyabo Ojo.. Thank you for being an incredible Queen Mother and for showing what it means to love unconditionally.”
