Nigerian musician Adekunle Gold extends heartfelt support to individuals living with sickle cell anemia as he shares a touching message with them.
During one of his performances, the singer paused to acknowledge and show respect to those facing the challenges of sickle cell disease.
Adekunle Gold revealed that he has personally grappled with sickle cell since birth, yet he has managed to lead a fulfilling life, traveling and performing around the world without falling ill.
Despite expressing gratitude for his ability to manage the condition, he emphasized the importance of resilience despite not fully comprehending the reasons behind it.
Drawing from his own experiences, he encouraged others affected by the illness to remain resilient, urging them not to allow it to hinder their pursuit of life’s aspirations.
Afterward, Adekunle Gold dedicated his song “5 Star” to them while performing it on stage.
