Luckily, I am in a relationship and I say that lightly because all you have to do is turn on the TV and see all of the celebrity relationships that fail. Or answer a phone call from a close friend that is sobbing about a relationship that is in shambles.
Be that as that may, I was observing a couple that appeared to be on a first date near me and it made me start thinking.
I would love to be in the mind of men if only for a few minutes to decipher their first thoughts when they are on a first date with a woman.
I would want to know what men think the moment they see their dates. Would a man think ‘oh those high-heeled shoes mmm I would like to _______ her in those?
Or does he think ‘hmm those shoes are kind of stuffy she might be boring’? Or if a woman’s skirt shows too much leg where do his thoughts go?
Dressing for a date is almost as tough as dressing for an interview in my opinion. When you go on an interview you want to present yourself well and part of that is how you look.
Dressing the part for a date should follow the same line of thought. Do you want to land the position of wifey or are you just looking for a little something for the moment?
I have been in my closet and my friend’s closet looking and tossing clothes about for the perfect date outfit. Women have so much on their plates at times and dating can sometimes be a hassle.
So the next time you or your girl has a date make it fun. Have a date night with your friends and pick out outfits that you may possibly wear on a date.
Let your friends YAY or NAY the outfit. Throw on something crazy just to make sure they are paying attention. Have fun with it!
