King makes first public outing since cancer announcement
King Charles made his inaugural public appearance since Buckingham Palace disclosed his cancer diagnosis by attending church in Sandringham.
The public briefly saw the King as he strolled outside St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham.
This development follows the King’s expression of gratitude to the public on Saturday for their “support and good wishes” following the announcement.
He acknowledged that individuals grappling with cancer find solace and encouragement in such heartfelt sentiments.
Approximately 100 well-wishers assembled on Sunday as he entered the church accompanied by his wife, Queen Camilla.
The King has withdrawn from public duties to undergo regular treatment.
