“Never castigate your family in public” – Yul Edochie slams brother as he teaches about family
Nollywood actor and former presidential aspirant Yul Edochie has criticized his brother, Linc Edochie, for publicly discussing their family issues.
Previously, Yul rebuked Linc for offering him advice on keeping his second marriage private. In an appearance on the K.O.K Live podcast with veteran actor Kanayo O. Kanayo, Linc shared that he had advised Yul to avoid showcasing his marriage to his second wife, Judy Austin, on social media.
In response, Yul took to Instagram to mock his older brother, pointing out that Linc kept his own marriage private yet ended up divorced.
Yul further condemned his brother for airing their family matters publicly, mentioning examples of singer Davido and his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, as figures who keep family issues private. He stressed the importance of family loyalty and urged his followers not to make enemies out of their loved ones.
“Never castigate your family in public. Never. That’s the sign of a weak person. Since you don’t know let me educate you. You no dey see Davido and his uncle? Once you see them in public, they are hugging, dancing and happy. Any matter wey dey Na inside house dem they treat am.
Don’t let haters push you into castigating your family. That’s a sign of weakness and jealousy. Family matter Na inside house them they treat am.
The sthpid person that sat you down to discuss your family, tell him to discuss his own family first.

We that Yul Edochie succumbed to pressure and publicly apologized to his wife, May, for cheating on her and marrying a second wife.
In a long epistle posted on his Instagram page, Yul Edochie acknowledged that he hurt his wife deeply but stressed that he had been an exceptional father to their four children
