“No be to dey chase clout, drop hit” – Doyin slams Wizkid, defends Donjazzy
Reality television personality Doyin David has taken a swipe at Wizkid in response to his recent outburst earlier today.
In a comment on blogger Tunde Ednut’s post, she asserted that DonJazzy remains the pinnacle of the Nigerian music industry, likening him to Jay-Z.
Additionally, she implied that anyone attempting to undermine DonJazzy is misguided and suggested that such behavior is not about gaining attention.
Many interpreted her remarks as a direct dig at Wizkid. Earlier, Wizkid had criticized DonJazzy for his influence in response to a comment from Ladipoe, an artist signed to Don Jazzy’s record label.
Wizkid’s remark about DonJazzy being an influencer sparked backlash from internet users who deemed it disrespectful. Doyin’s response, in essence, addressed this controversy.
“Don Jazzy is still the Jay-Z of the Nigerian music industry. If you try to disrespect him, it just shows your head is not correct. No Be to the chase clout. Drop hits.”
