Phyna breaks down in tears, reveals BBN still owes her over N100 million
Reality TV star Phyna became emotional during a TikTok live session, appealing to Nigerians for help as Big Brother Naija (BBN) has allegedly refused to pay her.
She claims that BBN has threatened that she cannot win if she pursues legal action against them.
Phyna, the winner of the show’s seventh season, has been vocal on social media about not receiving her promised prize.
Despite it being over two years since her win, she revealed that she still has not received the 1 Bitcoin prize.
At the time of her victory, Bitcoin was valued at only N22 million, but its value has since increased to over N100 million.
Despite ongoing disputes with Multichoice over the payment, no significant progress has been made. Phyna stated that they had told her to “do her worst” and threatened that she would never win if she took the matter to court.
This statement enraged the online personality who stated that she is already exhausted with the situation and just wants her money paid.
She strongly believes that the organization did not give her fame as they both helped each other and BBN stated that her season made them the most money.
