Portable breaks silence following arrest
Controversial Nigerian musician Portable has finally spoken out after being apprehended by the Lagos State Police Command over allegations of outstanding debts linked to the acquisition of a G-Wagon.
Taking to social media, the contentious artist addressed his fans and followers, breaking his silence for the first time since his arrest.
Portable’s detention reportedly revolves around claims of unpaid dues concerning the purchase of a G-Wagon from a car dealership.
It’s been reported that Portable only disbursed N13 million, a fraction of the total N27 million price, leaving a substantial sum unsettled.
Allegedly, the singer refused to clear the remaining balance, citing purported flaws with the vehicle.
In his inaugural public statement post-arrest, Portable utilized his Instagram platform to convey a message centered on faith and resilience.
In his words;
“God is bigger than everything. Amen if you believe so. God over everything.”
