Afro-beat artist Simi recently disclosed her alternate course of action had she not been Nigerian. Via the X-Platform, she expressed that were she not from Nigeria, she would harbor animosity toward Nigerians.
This declaration stems from the reactions of Nigerians on social media as they taunted South Africans in a recent football match. It’s worth noting that just a few days prior, Nigeria and South Africa had competed in a football match, with Nigeria emerging victorious.
However, the victory spilled over onto social media as Nigerians teased South Africans, instilling the belief that Nigeria would win.
In a related development, Simi had previously shared the moment she realized her eyesight was deteriorating, as reported yesterday.
During a particular question asked by a Twitter user on people realizing when their eyesight was now bad, she revealed that it was when she was about to get her driver’s license.
She revealed that one of the requirements was to read from a document. While reading the document, she could not pronounce and see some of the words clearly. She had been very disappointed in herself for that.
