“The new 3rd Mainland Bridge is dangerous and is like a death trap” Nkechi Blessing issues a warning to car drivers after escaping an accident
Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has issued a warning to drivers regarding the hazards of the new 3rd Mainland Bridge.
While acknowledging the efforts of those overseeing its reconstruction, she firmly asserts that the revamped bridge poses significant dangers and resembles a potential death trap.
Drawing from her own driving experience, she recounts a recent incident where she narrowly avoided an accident despite not exceeding the speed limit. Tragically, she also mourns the loss of a dear friend on the same bridge.
Expressing her profound sorrow, she urges fellow road users to exercise caution and refrain from speeding on the bridge. In a heartfelt farewell to MC Oluomo’s aide, Akintoye Benson, she emphasizes the importance of vigilance on the roadway.
“I appreciate whoever is in charge of the reconstruction of the 3RD Mainland Bridge, but I can categorically tell you that the new bridge is dangerous, more like a deth trap….With my driving experience on that bridge two nights ago, please and please do not drive speed on that bridge, yes it’s a beautiful and smooth bridge now compared to the way it was before, but I almost had an accident two nights ago, not like I was even speeding cus me no sabi drive speed, but my steering almost left my hands while driving…then just last night I lost a good friend on that same bridge, it hurts but What can we call this? A Blessing or a curse? Rest well Akintoye Please do NOT over SPEED on the new 3rd mainland Bridge Please I am begging you Untimely deth will never be our portion”.
