Uche Ogbodo takes time out to advise housewives to get jobs so they don’t remain in abusive marriages
Nigerian actress and philanthropist Uche Ogbodo has offered advice to housewives, urging them to secure employment to avoid staying in abusive marriages.
The married actor, known for her recent commentary on the plantain saga, has specifically addressed women who endure abusive situations due to financial dependence on their husbands.
Ogbodo encourages them to take action in 2024 by seeking employment, enabling them to independently support themselves and their children.
In her words;
“Dear Woman,
Please look for work or trade to do this year 2024.
You cannot keep suffering because you solely depend on your husband….
Fear of what to eat or how to take care of your kids is not enough reason to stay in an abusive marriage”
