In a recent tweet on X (formerly Twitter), the Edo state-born star shared her reasons for severing ties with her surname. She made a startling revelation, claiming there is no evidence of genuine family connections or knowledge of her true origins.
Phyna also opened up about facing a tough period, describing past mistreatment by relatives she once trusted, which she attributed to her naivety as a child.
Her tweet reads, “I am publicly dropping my family surname OTABOR. it has been proven that I actually have no family and nobody knows how I came about it’s been rough with me lately. I’m in a place where I can’t even describe how I feel”.
