Sharing the news on her Instagram page, the movie star, who made her first appearance in cinemas last week with her film Queen Lateefah, revealed that it earned 57.7 million Naira in its opening weekend. This achievement marks the highest Nollywood opening weekend for a non-holiday period and sets a new record for the highest-ever opening weekend by an independent distributor.
Wumi expressed her deep appreciation to the public, stating that she is overwhelmed with gratitude for their love and support.
