“You really won my heart” – Dele Odule, Jide Kosoko react to Nkechi Blessing’s unreserved apology to TAMPAN
Veteran Nollywood actors, including Jide Kosoko and Dele Odule, have responded to Nkechi Blessing’s public apology to members of TAMPAN.
At a recent awards ceremony in Canada honoring Yoruba actors and actresses, Nkechi Blessing publicly knelt to acknowledge her past mistakes and ask TAMPAN leaders for forgiveness, also requesting that her industry ban be lifted.
Following the event, Nkechi expressed on her Instagram page that she wished she had known what she knows now but is grateful for God’s guidance. She extended an unreserved apology to the association’s members, hoping they would find it in their hearts to forgive her.
Jide Kosoko, responding on Instagram, accepted her apology, reassuring her that no formal action was taken to exclude her from the industry. He affirmed that Nkechi remains like a daughter to him and prayed for God’s continued guidance in her life.
“Nkechi @nkechiblessingsunday Honestly, you are forgiving, even before the President’s pronouncement. There was never any action to keep you out of practice, to the best of my knowledge. You remain a daughter, and Almighty God will continue to be your guide and guard. Amen”.
In his comment section, Dele Odule stated that Nkechi had won his heart with her apology. He noted how he hardly responds or comments on issues, especially on social media, but he is impressed at her mature behavior.
“Nkechi, you really won my heart with this, you know I hardly respond or comment on issues, especially on social media but I just be sincere, you’ve done greatly well, May Almighty Father continually bless your hustle, you’re loved”
