Yvonne Jegede lauds Yul Edochie for taking second wife, berates critics
Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has come to the defense of her colleague, Yul Edochie, amidst criticism over his decision to marry a second wife. Yul Edochie recently took a second wife, Judy Austin, who is also an actress, despite being married to May Edochie.
In an interview on The Honest Bunch podcast, Yvonne asserted that Yul has done nothing wrong, emphasizing that many of his critics are from polygamous backgrounds themselves. She questioned why people criticize Yul while praising Regina Daniels, who is also in a polygamous marriage.
Yvonne highlighted the irony that Regina is often regarded as a role model and that many aspire to be in her position.
“You see this Yul Edochie ehnnn, 99% of people abusing him are from second wives, third wives, fourth wives ahd fifth wives. Sometimes wife that the family doesn’t know about.
“Let us stop being silly on the internet. I don’t see anything he has done wrong. I no dem go tear me to pieces when this interview gets uploaded.
“Why are you guys cursing him and making Regina Daniels your prayer point, only she fit advice you for marriage”.
