Medikal sparks uproar as he opines he’s richer than Asake
Popular Ghanaian musician, Medikal, sparks controversy by asserting his wealth surpasses that of Nigerian singer, Asake. The 31-year-old rapper expressed this view on social media during banter with Nigerian users.
Taking to social media, the Ghanaian artist subtly shaded his counterparts, suggesting that one of the challenges in engaging in disputes is responding to those without notable accomplishments.
In response to a comment by @asiwajulerry_, who found it amusing that a Ghanaian artist would discuss achievements, Medikal countered by emphasizing that Asake, a Nigerian artist, doesn’t come close to his level of affluence.
He wrote:

@AsiwajuLerry_ said: “Ghana artistes chatting about achievements is a funny move. The biggest artiste in your country will have to battle with a new cat like Asake if it’s by number of achievements. Stop yapping on Twitter and get in the booth.”
Medikal replied: “I totally respect what you are saying but Asake no get money pass me.”
