If sports betting business wasn’t a gambling, I’d have been among the first first or second person to start it in Nigeria. Till today people still ask me to explain how to setup a sports betting business in Nigeria, on the internet, or any other part of the world for that. It is extremely difficult for me because I do not support nor promote any business that neither add value to the society nor contribute to the GDP. Instead, it takes away chunk of people’s earning and pile it up for the betting company with absolutely no value in return.
There are number of businesses you won’t expect to see on this website for ethic and moral reasons. That has nothing to do with the law as most of the businesses are legal in most countries. Below are some of the businesses we may never write about:-
Sports Betting Business – While this business generate millions of dollars on weekly basis for the owners, it is however not a responsible business (at least in our own view point) because the greater number of its customers will end up loosing instead of earning while the major bulk of money goes to the sports betting company/owner. There is neither products nor services it offers to benefit the lives of the society.
Multi Level Marketing (MLM) – This business thrives on deception and fake promises. The products are vague and extremely over priced. The benefits it promises are never realized and majority of people who get involved are always at loss. At the end, the business and their owners will takeaway with zero values added. It is however legal in Nigeria and many countries.
Pyramid Scheme – This business is at best outright scam. It is similar with multilevel marketing but worst than multilevel marketing because no product whatsoever is involved. You just go on recruiting people to bring money for the company just like that, while you are paid part of it. When the money is big enough, the company will disappear into thin air.
HYIP (High Yield Investment Plan) – You are promised a huge return on investment from a tiny amount you can invest by a company that has no business whatsoever other than just a name it gave itself on the internet. No traceable business they are investing the money on, either in a short or long term. When the money becomes big enough, they disappear without trace.
These are but a few of the businesses we’ll never encourage people on WealthResult.com to engage in nor invest on. Keep your eyes on businesses that pay and never deal in illegal and unethical businesses no matter how much you can earn from it. Sports betting business is a multi billion business, no doubt about that but we are not interested.
