VeryDarkMan accuses Ubi Franklin of fraud using Davido’s name, shares evidence
Socialite VeryDarkMan has leveled allegations against Ubi Franklin’s associate, claiming that the individual defrauded an emerging artist by exploiting Davido’s name.
In a video posted on VeryDarkMan’s social media page, he revealed that an aspiring musician and his manager had contacted Ubi Franklin seeking assistance in securing a prominent artist feature for their music.
According to VeryDarkMan, Ubi Franklin allegedly requested the manager and the aspiring artist to provide a sum of N2 million as a demonstration of their commitment.
Moreover, he purportedly urged them to send an additional N5 million so that he could purportedly facilitate a conversation with Davido on their behalf, negotiating a discounted rate for the featured artist.
Ubi Franklin allegedly also promised to help the upcoming artist obtain a US visa to see the Afrobeat artist as well after taking in a total of N10.5 million from the upcoming artist.
