7 Simple remedies that make your home bug-free without chemicals

Bugs can be nasty little things, and take over a home, garden or any other area in a glance.

The worst thing of all is that they are difficult to get rid of, despite numerous chemicals sold on the market. However, you may have not thought of using more natural techniques to get rid of these little pests.

Peppermint Oil

Peppermint is intolerable to bugs, so they keep their distance perfectly. Mix 8 drops of peppermint essential oil with a little water. Spray the liquid in the corners of your house. For stronger effects increase the peppermint oil dosage. Also, you can add vinegar to the mix and get even bigger results.

Vinegar

Vinegar alone can be truly effective when insects are concerned. Combine one part vinegar with two parts water. Spray liquid around the house for best results.

Baking Soda

Baking soda is a natural bug killer, since it absorbs the moisture from their organisms. Just place baking soda around the house, especially in the corners and cracks of the floor.  After a few days, vacuum baking soda and repeat once more.

Lavender, Rosemary & Eucalyptus

These three plants destroy bugs very quickly and effectively. Combine a few drops of each oil and add water. Spray liquid around the house, especially in the sleeping areas.

Mint Leaves

Mint leaves are also intolerable to bugs, just like peppermint oil. Crush a few mint leaves and leave them around the corners of your house and around the mattresses. Also you can use it against moths and keep it around your clothes.

Cayenne Pepper

Bugs cannot stand the odor of cayenne pepper. Just sprinkle it on mostly affected areas and say goodbye to bugs forever.

Silica Gel

Grind some silica gel and place it in your bedroom. This is very effective against bugs.
