5 Travel Skincare Tips from beauty bloggers

There is nothing more fulfilling and magical than traveling but a change in temperature, humidity and weather are sure to take a toll on your skin. And more so for the travel bloggers as they are always globetrotting to both city and country locales. Staying fresh after hours of travel on plane or train or car is challenging and more so as it is not always possible to fit all your beauty regime products in your travel bags.

There is nobody better than the travel bloggers to give genuine travel skincare tips that will help you look good on your next vacation:

  1. Hydration: For the travel blogger it is very important to stay hydrated. One essential skincare product is facial wipes. The facial wipes are excellent for makeup removal or just to freshen the skin while on-the-go. These wipes come handy when you are off to sunny places. Also, bloggers suggest including tinted moisturizers with sunscreen to keep the skin safe. Most importantly, don’t forget to carry a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated at all the times.
  2. Keep the routine simple: Travel bloggers suggest that it is imperative to keep the beauty and skincare routine as simple as possible. An ideal routine is to cleanse the face in both morning and evening. It is best to remove the eye makeup with coconut oil which when needed can also double up as hair and body moisturizer.
  3. Keep it minimalistic: Prefer buying multi-purpose beauty products so that it can be used as blush, lip color, and eyeshadow. When on the go you can conveniently skip mascara and eyeliner as dewy glow helps in creating a natural look.
  4. Keep your hands off your face: This is one grave mistake that most of us make while traveling. When at the public places, we come in contact with many germs. So, when we touch the face, all these transmit to the skin. It then results in acne and pimple breakouts. If touching your face is unavoidable, use the oil blotter or face tissues as a protective layer between the face and hands. Also, you can keep the sanitizer handy and use it before touching the face.
  5. Watch your diet: When traveling it is very important to keep your skin healthy from both inside and outside. As far as possible keep a healthy lifestyle by eating healthy meals and drinking adequate water. Try and include fresh salads and fruits whenever possible. Pack some healthy snacks like chia seeds, almonds, nuts, and trail mix.

It is recommended that before you pack your bags, it is essential to do some research and know the weather. If you are traveling to a drier place, pack a lot of moisturizing products and serums whereas, if you are traveling to humid place don’t forget to pack cleansers and exfoliators.
