The world is full of stubborn people. That’s why we still have wars. You know, people that would rather die than admit that they may be wrong.
Argue to the last breath, so that they would not have to pay an extra 2, 3, 7, 10, or 20% of their 20 plus million dollar yearly income, thus driving an entire nation off of a fiscal cliff and into deep sh…, or argue for hours rather than concede to think that maybe a woman should not treat a man like a dog.
I read a few posts on the site over the holiday’s and one of the guy’s was trying to send some knowledge out.
Submitting his past observations while growing up to help the other side understand and grow.
An observation of a society and how he noticed women treating men like dogs even after marriage. Maybe he used the wrong term because the ladies got really rowdy after they read “Submit to your man,” which was basically just the title, but it did not really help matters using TV families from his youth as examples of family role behavior.
As you could imagine, the ladies got heated, they were on FIRE and I don’t mean Alicia Keys fire. It was bad fire! They were out for blood and within a few minutes, judging by the post time stamps, it was in the water.
That post was all over the place, think I saw flames burst out of some of the replies. My monitor almost caught on fire! Shoot the messenger and anyone else associated with him.
I’m not going to say anything on this subject (pass the few lines I usually write). Jaw just dropped as I read. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make that horse drink. Nor can you pass knowledge if people are not receptive or willing to listen and process that message(s) and what is being said, before firing with all guns, grenades, and RPG’s going off.
And definitely not if they are too stubborn to say hey maybe I don’t have a man because I treated the last 5 like dogs.
Or my husband just left because I myself may have been a little difficult. Wink, wink. Or maybe because I argue him down on every topic, thoroughly.
Here is the part where the stubborn ones say, “No! That’s because they were dogs!!” or “Because he went and said something stupid,” then probably call me a “male chauvinist pig,” or a “misogynist” or a long laundry list of colorful metaphors without even knowing who I am or what makes me tick (or Reflect on what it was I just said). Then some might say, “I know all I need to know”.
Yea, I knew you were going to say either that or something like that. It was a conditioned response, propagated by decades of TV, movies, and music.
You are so ready to type something angry right now. Which, will not be responding to by me, by the way. If you have read any of my last post, then you know were I stand and how I feel about this subject.
Treat each other like you would like to be treated. A relationship is not about, one upping the other, unless in bed, or treating the other like a dog, all though some people tend to get off on that.
A man must feel like a man in his own home. (here’s where the stubborn ones drop off and start writing angry replies, if not back at the first paragraph…Oh and “his own” was used lightly as it is a shared home) If you can’t do that then there are plenty of other women for both him and you.
Why, Because NO MAN is going to take that treatment for too long and there are way more women then men. Some of each may be gay or lesbian or in to animals or saving themselves for the perfect mate that may or may not come along until they are 90.
GUYS, The same the other way around with women. Ladies are not going to stay in a relationship for too long if they are being treated like a dogs everyday.
Some, it might take longer to get the message to leave you than most. It’s okay to help out and damn near mandatory at times.
I hope all have received this knowledge well and use it wisely and not against each other because that leads nowhere.
