Little Chloe’s only hope of survival is a bone marrow transplant and no suitable matches have been found up till now.
They wrote: “This is Chloe. Chloe is 7 year old and suffers from the rare condition, Diamond Blackfan Anemia.
“This condition is a disorder of the bone marrow, which means Chloe’s body fails to make enough red blood cells which are essential to carry oxygen around the body.
“Up until now, Chloe has been relying on regular blood transfusions, however unfortunately her body is now starting to reject donors blood and the only chance of survival is a bone marrow transplant.
“Chloe has been on the transplant list with Anthony Nolan and DKMS for over a year, with no suitable matches.
“Chloe’s family are now desperate to find a match, to save their little girl.
“In a bid to find a donor, they will be carrying out registration days, with the first one to be held at the Bridges shopping centre in Sunderland on the 9th Oct from 9am – 5:30pm.
“If you are interested in becoming a donor, please come along and sign up, the age limit is 55 and a brief health questionnaire can be filled in on the day.
“If you cant make it on the day, you can sign up with the link below #aheroforchloe..”
